  • The best way to always keep your alpaca garment as new is to wash it by hand. Fill a container with cold water and immerse it carefully. Uses neutral mild detergent that maintains the appearance, softness and original color of the most delicate fibers. Leave it to soak for no more than five minutes and then rinse well always using cold water. It is important to remove excess water from the garment without twisting its fibers. Stretch it on a towel and roll it carefully. Always dry it in the shade and horizontally, never hang it on a wet hanger as it will lose its original shape. Alpaca is a very delicate fiber so it should not be ironed. Make sure the garment is completely dry before storing it.
